5. Deposit & Reservation Policy
- A deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle or to proceed with auction bidding on behalf of a customer.

- Full payment or confirmed deposit must be received before a vehicle is reserved, bid on at auction, or shipped.
7. Auction Vehicle Disclaimer
When a vehicle is sourced through Japanese vehicle auctions on behalf of a customer:
- Auction vehicles are sold in "as-is" condition based on the auction inspection sheet and available condition data at the time of sale.
- Auction grades and condition reports are prepared by independent third-party inspectors at each auction house and are not a guarantee issued by Yamaguchi Motors.
- Minor discrepancies between the auction sheet description and actual vehicle condition are normal in auction transactions and do not constitute grounds for refund or cancellation.
- The Company will communicate vehicle condition to the customer as accurately as possible but cannot be held liable for issues not visible or not disclosed in the auction sheet.
- Once a bid is placed and accepted at auction, the sale is final. Cancellation is not possible under any circumstances.
8. Vehicle Condition & Information
- All used vehicles are sold based on available inspection data, auction sheets, and descriptions provided at the time of listing.
- Used vehicles may show signs of normal wear consistent with age and mileage. This is not considered a defect.
- Vehicle photographs shown on the website are representative. Customers should confirm actual condition prior to purchase.
- Customers are encouraged to request additional photos, video walkarounds, or arrange a third-party inspection before finalizing any purchase.
- Customers are responsible for reviewing all vehicle information and confirming its suitability for their intended use before completing a purchase.
9. Worldwide Export Services
Yamaguchi Motors 合同会社 exports used vehicles to customers in any country worldwide, subject to the following terms and conditions:
9.1 Export Process

- Shipping is arranged through trusted third-party freight forwarders via RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) or container shipping as appropriate.
- The Company will provide all standard shipping documents including Bill of Lading, commercial invoice, and packing list.
9.2 Buyer Responsibilities for Export
- The buyer is solely responsible for understanding and complying with the import laws, duties, taxes, age restrictions, emissions standards, and any other regulations of their destination country.
- The Company is not responsible for vehicles rejected, detained, seized, or impounded by destination country customs or government authorities.
- The buyer must confirm the destination port, required specifications, and any country-specific requirements (e.g., left-hand drive conversion, safety modifications, mileage limits) before placing an export order.
- Pre-shipment inspection (JEVIC or equivalent) is available upon request for countries that require it, at additional cost to the buyer.
9.3 Export Legal Compliance
- All export transactions are conducted in full compliance with Japanese law, including the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act (外国為替及び外貿易法 / FEFTA) and the Export Trade Control Order (輸出貿易管理令).
- The Company does not export to individuals, organizations, or countries subject to Japanese government sanctions or international trade restrictions.
- The Company complies with Japanese Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. International customers may be required to provide identity verification and payment source documentation before a transaction is completed.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any export order at any time if legal compliance requirements cannot be satisfied.
9.4 Shipping, Risk & Insurance
- Estimated shipping timelines are approximate and subject to change due to vessel schedules, port congestion, weather, customs processing, or other factors beyond the Company's control.
- Risk of loss or damage to the vehicle transfers to the buyer once the vehicle is handed over to the freight forwarder or loaded onto the vessel, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Marine cargo insurance is strongly recommended and can be arranged upon request at additional cost. The Company is not liable for loss or damage during sea transit unless insurance has been arranged and a valid claim is submitted.
10. Domestic Delivery
- Domestic vehicle delivery within Japan is available subject to location, vehicle type, and applicable delivery fees.
- Delivery timelines are estimates only. The Company is not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics providers or road conditions.
- The customer must be available to receive the vehicle at the agreed location and time. Re-delivery fees may apply for missed deliveries.
- Any damage observed at the time of delivery must be reported immediately and documented with photographs before signing any receipt.
11. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Order Cancellation
- Cancellation requests must be submitted to the Company in writing before the vehicle is shipped, delivered, or picked up.
- Auction purchases cannot be cancelled once a bid has been accepted at auction.
- Export orders cannot be cancelled once the vehicle has been handed over to the freight forwarder or port.
- Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage reached in the transaction process.
Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are subject to Company review and approval on a case-by-case basis.
- Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as at the time of delivery or pickup. Any damage, excessive use, or depreciation may result in deductions from the refund amount.
- Export orders, auction purchases, special orders, and "as-is" sales are generally not eligible for refunds unless required by applicable Japanese law.
- Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs after the Company has commenced the sourcing or auction process on behalf of the customer.
Refund Process & Timeline
- Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method as the original transaction wherever possible.
- Refunds are typically initiated within 7–10 business days after approval.
- International bank transfer refunds may require additional processing time. Currency exchange losses during refund processing are not the responsibility of the Company.
12. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, wars, political unrest, government restrictions, port closures, shipping line disruptions, customs authority actions, labor strikes, or any other force majeure event. In such cases, the Company will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible and work toward a fair resolution.
